December News from The Fruitful Field
Workday this Saturday, December the 17th!
Come ready to work as we grow food and build community. It’s a great time to be involved!
Snacks and a light lunch made from garden ingredients will be provided.
Lots of great Growing Season projects:
- Shaping and Planting a new straw bale row with vegetables.
- Zai holes for planting velvet beans and sunflowers (don’t know what Zai holes are? Come find out!)
- Starting seedlings in the plant nursery.
- Weeding (of course!)
Where: The Fruitful Field
Provided: Supervised Projects, snacks and light lunch, cold water, lemongrass tea and a feeling of accomplishment in the Garden
Bring: Work gloves, closed-toe shoes, sun protector, a hat, refillable water bottle, a digging implement
When: Saturday December 17th from 9:00am to 12:00pm
