With an outlook toward soaring fuel prices and correlating increases in food prices, we at Urban Farm Guru have undertaken a quest to implement sustainable food production systems for food security in urban centers.

Our objective, through teaching, consulting and implementing sustainable urban food production systems is to contribute to the establishment of energy efficient, food secure and ecological sound urban centers. It makes sense to grow food where you live! It also makes sense to design in harmony with natural patterns. This way we provide for our human needs and enhance the natural environment. By using the principals of permaculture we are weaving life back into the urban environment.
